Mascara Talk: Getting Long Thick Lashes
Hi guys! So today I thought I'd share with you how I make my eyes pop and looking hella fine with just mascara! If you have stubborn asian eyes/lashes like me this will be great for you! If you're not into thick chunky lashes however, this will not be great you! If that's the case, please scroll down and avert your glance to my other posts (shameless self promo yay).
What you need:
1. Your best eye lash curler
2. Your best waterproof mascara
3. Your best non waterproof mascara
just my naked eye, it looks as if there are white flakes on my lashes but that's just weird lighting!
1. Clamp those babies, if you already have naturally curled lashes then you may skip this part if you'd like
2. Apply a coat of the waterproof mascara to your top lashes. Make sure you don't miss any lashes! I use the Maybelline Falsies. What the waterproof mascara does is it holds your curl tall and mighty!
3. If you find it hard to get to your roots simply lift your lid up and proceed. You can also try blinking but that doesn't work too well for. Also, expect to get mascara on your eye lids, you can just use a q - tip to get that off when you're done!
4. Apply a coat of non waterproof mascara to your upper lashes. What the non waterproof mascara does is it thickens your lashes. Yes you run the risk of having chunkier and spidery looking lashes, but I think that's part of the appeal ( i know many people don't, oops)!
5. Now onto the bottom lashes! Coat some non water proof mascara onto them and the more coats you apply the thicker and longer they will look.
TADA!
I know the way I do my mascara may not be everyone's cup of tea because they're too "thick" and they're not "natural looking enough", but if you want natural why not just go without?!
What do you think? And how do you like your mascara bold, thick and chunky or natural light and feathery?

OOTN: Dinner Party and day out with my homies
OOTN:
So today is Singapore's Birthday, sadly I have no recollection of how old Singapore is. I went to a dinner party, ate some good ole' Singaporean food and mingled with people that I'll only meet again next year when Singapore's birthday comes along again. This was what I decided to wear. I wanted to be a little more conservative as both my parents and I feel like I've been flashing a little too much skin lately! Yikes! So I slapped on my high waisted thrifted mom jeans, my mom's gorgeous vintage bird top and my new favorite pair of black strappy sandal platforms from cotton on! For accessories, I got out my F21 golden chain necklace and wore some golden rings to go along. On my lips I have infrared by topshop and on my lashes I have the Maybelline Falsies and Bourjois's Volumizer mascara!
Today I met up for coffee with these two lovelies
headed over to fugi's afterwards along with quinnie! we had makeup makeovers, tried on a bunch of clothes and pampered ourselves with manicures
How was your day?

Been wondering if you’re heart’s still open and if so I wanna know what time it shuts
Hung out with this hoe today!!! Haven't seen her in agesss! We met up after she finished work and drove to town on her motorbike. Megan, being a motorbike newbie (she's not even legal), let's just say the ride was definitely an experience. But who am I to judge, I can barely ride a bicycle properly. Shh, I'm learning guys. So we went to town to get the Maybelline Falsies that I've been lusting over for a while now! I'm so glad I didn't make the purchase in Singapore because I would've spent an extra 10 bucks there. I can't wait to use it! Hopefully, it's as good as everyone says it is! I really hope it's good enough to replace my Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Mascara, because man, that baby, as much I love it, is seriously unhealthy for my wallet. I also bought some baby oil because it works better and is definitely cheaper than all of the make up removers out there. We then pigged out on Lotteria and headed over to highlands for coffee!
On my body I wore this use to be t - shirt but I then cut into a cropped tank from Ambiguous given to me by Phong, these Levi's denim shorts and my new favorite accessory, this black chunky belt from handm that I scored for literally 2 bucks! I also just wore some white shoes and I had a brown sling bag that didn't go too well with the outfit but I didn't really care, after all I was only going to see Megan, hehe <3

Timeless Stripes
Pretty much lazed around today acting like a huge drone, I did do both my granny's and mom's make up, probably one of the more productive things I did today. So here's what I wore, who says I can't dress up just because I'm not going out and about, I thought I'd pretty myself up for no one to see. On my body I have this timeless striped polo that I'm so in love with from New Look! I know these polos are meant to be tight and fitted but they ran out of size 8's so I opted for a size 16, the smallest size left. At first, I wasn't so sure about the arrangement, but I actually quite like the baggy fit on my body. I paired the top with my only pair of black high waisted shorts that I thrifted for around 5 bucks (amazing, I know!), and on my feet I have my gorgeous platforms from cotton on. On my ears I have these topshop earrings, the disc is silver whilst the cross is gold, I just thought that it's such a smart way of mixing metals together! As for my face I just have some lancome mascara on, on some red matte lip gloss from a make up set I got from Pixie. And because my hair does not look good with a braid, I thought I'd do this instead, not as nice but I'll settle!
