Mickey Mouse and Geese

Today I met up with a lovely friend of mine who's just gotten back from Australia for lunch and he gave me two of these lovely tops both from Topman! <3 Yes, Topman. I don't see the wrong in wearing men's clothing, in fact, sometimes I find myself wandering off into the men's section in clothing stores. I just think the graphic and printed tees in the men's section are so much quirkier, and cheaper too!
|the two pieces I received|

|the first top has a geese print which I thought was so adorable and unlike many prints I've seen in the high street| Also, I love how faded the print is| I thought it'd be a good idea to crop this baby so I did| worn with these cotton handm shorts for a clash of patterns|

|geese tee paired with puma vintage high waisted shorts and handm waist belt|

|the second top features mickey mouse!! The disney trend has been going around for a while now, and I'm glad to jump on the mickey train, starting with this tee| I'm still unsure whether I should crop it or cut of the sleeves or even just leave it as it is| Help?

Which top do you prefer?

Pineapple

MIA FOR A LONG LONG TIME BUT I'M BACK!!!
Sorry for my absence, 11th grade has consumed a whole chunk of my time and hopefully I'm back for a long time this time, don't take my word on it though! I don't want to make false promises, hehe.

So I've been seeing pineapples everywhere and I'm definitely on board with this trend, I bought this pineapple crop from H&M, along with a pineapple body that I might feature in a later OOTD. I've also been hunting for a granny align denim skirt for the longest time and when I saw these on the Topshop website, I knew I had to run over to the store to buy them. Sure the price tag was definitely cringe worthy, but I knew if I left the store without them I'd live in regret until the day I died. I love the fit of the skirt, though it doesn't completely cinch me in by the waist but I was afraid if I went a size down, it'd be even shorter than it already is! But no matter, I've run into this problem many times before. Over my outfit I thought I'd add on this cute denim cropped vest from F21 that I bought probably 2 years ago, just to cover up some skin. Lastly to complete the look I'm wearing my black platforms from cotton on that I absolutely adore. It's super comfortable (when worn for short periods of time), casual enough to wear on a day to day basis and just gives me the right amount of height that I need (being 5'2 this is crucial).

Current loves: Jasmin and Vanilla

Bvlgari's Jasmin Noir: This scent is super sultry and seductive and smells just like its name, Jasmines! It's smells like a sweater version of Jasmin tea, it's a great pick me up for when I'm feeling tired in the mornings. I have the tendency to overuse my perfumes because I have this thing where I have to smell good all the time, and the only way to prevent my perfume from going away it seems, is to spray it all over my body like 10 times before leaving my humble abode. People always tell me that my perfume smells too strong, but it's hard to cut back ya know. Lucky for me, this scent is so subtle and light I can risk spritzing it all over my body 10 times and not smelling like an overpowering Jasmine garden. Also, the boyf gets headaches when my scents are too strong, hah, so this is just perfect, and I've been using it like mad. Lovely bottle it comes in as well.

Bath & Body Work's Vanilla Bean Noel Body Butter: I recently bought this body lotion and I am so happy with it. I haven't used much else from bath & body works other than their hand sanitizers, just because there isn't a legit store here. I was so excited when I found out there was a store full of imported American products in town, I headed down and picked this baby right up. The smell is absolutely delicious, it smells like fucking christmas and vanilla icing, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE VANILLA I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH. The consistency is perfect as well, it's smooth and super creamy. It does take a while evaporate and is initially quite sticky, but if you leave it for a while, the lotion will incorporate into your skin perfectly. One of the best smelling body lotions I've used, hands down.

I must keep in good health, and not die.

Hey guys, I meant to post this on Friday, but better late than never! Oh and my shoes are so incredibly dirty, eheh, I need to scrub them but I can never make the time, I'm so gross.
Outfit details: 'Dweeb" crop tee - Topshop, High waist granny denim skirt - Esprit Junior, Shoes - Skono gifted by Michelle <3, Necklace - F21
Finally, a liberating weekend, being the huge planner that I am, I had set myself the goal of working on my exam notes and studying for my economics retest that I STILL have not taken. I don't know who's more of a procrastinator, me or my economics teacher. But as a per usual, I got distracted by pointless things like Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre. I re watched Pride and Prejudice, and I still love it, the scene where Mr Darcy helps Elizabeth into the carriage just kind of gets me everytime. You could say it's just cus he's chilvalrous more than anything, but you know how simply holding hands in those times was kind of like saying I wanna have your babies please marry me ilysm? Also, I finally had some time to read Jane Eyre and I'm a little disappointed that the director of the latest Jane Eyre movie did not recreate the scene where Mr. Rochester pretends to be a gypsy and reads Jane Eyre's fortune in a game of charades. It would've been a lovely scene I think; I could just feel their chemistry bouncing off the pages, and how he knew that she was observing him and just gahhhhh, I can't help but feel so much. Mr Rochester, you've had me conflicted. That's basically that for my weekend. Oh and you know that feeling where you think you're going to fail and you just kind of do? I hope that doesn't happen for my retest. :\

And those are the words of a gentleman

Outfit details: Shorts - Mom's & DIYed, Shirt - Minh's, Shoes - Topshop

Today was brutal. The unseen in class commentary had everyone pretty much crying by the end of it. My diet isn't working out and I've in fact gained some rather than lost some. UNIS Hanoi confessions have been taken there, there goes my only source of entertainment out the window. I've been eating way to much crisps for my own good and now I'm going to go drink some chrysanthemum tea and study for my market failure quiz. Can't wait for the weekend, I'm going to watch Pride & Prejudice again!

The Polywhore

Sorry for being extremely MIA, I've been neglecting my blog and just trying to get my life sorted out you know. Trying to juggle the IB alongside the SATs is no easy task, especially with end of the year exams coming up. Anyway, unfortunately, you guys won't get any lovely personal pictures from me today. Instead, I thought I'd bombard my blog with a few of my current favourite polyvore sets! I would wear every single thing here.

Set 1:

+So in the love with the goddamn maxi, it just looks so cute and comfortable!! It kind of just screams I'm a lazy fashionista you know? It could almost be a night gown, multi functional.

Set 2:

+This, I guess is a very me outfit, what with the high waisted denim and the crop top
+ I'm also soooo in love with those jelly sandals, I can't seem to find a pair that look good on me though :/ My friends seem to think that jelly sandals scream old grandma but I'd go the other say and say that they're high fa$hionz you know?

Set 3:

+So in love with the color palette of this set, everything's so mauve
+The boots are questionable, everything else <3

Set 4:
+Loveeee the turtleneck and the green denim jacket! Green denim's not very common but i love love love ittt

Which is your favorite set? (All of these sets are from the polywhore.tumblr.com, check it out, AMAZING FASHION INSPO)

Sick of the view from my coach, let's move

Yesterday's outfit! Meant to post it, but I kind of forgot. So I rocked one of my favorite tops of the moment, and it's this dweeb top from Topshop and I just think it's just fucking awesome despite it's simplicity and plainness. Also I wore these tropical shorts that I would not normally reach for but I think I'm now more bold with my short choices, I used to be an all denim short typa gal, but now I feel like branching out.

Outfit dets: Boots - Topshop, Shorts - Cotton On, Top - Topshop

So nothing much is happening, I watched Les Miserables yesterday and I still can't pronounce the title of the movie properly, the movie was splendid though, a little slow in the middle, but it definitely evoked some pretty strong emotions. Now I'm just having some home made sweet & sour pork and watching ANTM. Rob Evans is such a babe <3

Also, I just wanted to tell everyone that I'm trying to be healthier and fitter and of course achieve that bikini body I've yearned for for so long, so I'll be cutting out junk food and doing at most, 15 minute exercises every night. It's not much but yet my little fitness plans still never work out, so I thought I'd announce it on here, so I can get my followers to motivate me and writing about it gives me more of an incentive to I guess!  Do you guys have any healthy weight losing tips?
